AI Image How-To — #31
Glowing objects! — secrets revealed!

What if you want to draw the reader’s eye to one main focal point in the image?
What word (or words) could you use to create this effect? I will show you three ways to achieve it in this article.
I’ve kept the prompts here super simple. To amp up the images and bring them to a more intense level, I’ve added by tags and listed magazines in most of the prompts.
For the first image, we are using luminescent flower.
I think it turned out stunning and was quite easy to achieve.
Prompt for image above:
luminescent flower, mosscore, by National Wildlife --v 5

For this image, we changed luminescent to luminous to see if AI would create stunning images just as easily — and it did.
V5 (used for each of these images) did not even require the add on of prompt words such as hyperdetailed, epic detail, or the such. The detail in V5 compared to V4 (using those tags) is amazing.
Prompt for image above:
luminous flower, mosscore, by National Wildlife --v 5

Can I use specific flowers? you ask…yes, you can.
Here we have luminous begonia.

luminous begonia, mosscore, by National Wildlife --v 5

This image uses the third option I promised. You can use luminescent, luminous, or glowing in your prompt.
Prompt for image above:
a Glowing flower, mosscore, National Geographic --v 5

No job is too big for Midjourney!
Most of the icebergs were small (at least the visible portion,) but all were beautiful.
Prompt for image above:
luminescent iceberg, mosscore, by National Geographic --v 5

This image has the beginnings of a fantasy tale.
For this image, I removed the by tag and added, fantasy and magical.
Prompt for image above:
luminescent mushrooms in a forest, fantasy, magical --v 5
Side note: I generated multiple attempts at a panther with glowing eyes peering through a lush forest with no luck. Awesome images, just couldn’t get the eyes to glow. I imagine with some work and finding what MJ would recognize, that it could be accomplished. Much like it took a lot of trial and error before figuring out how to colorize one portion of a black and white image!
Now that you know how — make something AWESOME!
