I had been hearing rumors about how AI-written content can impact your site negatively.

I’ve been doing it for over a year and that has not been my experience.

I’ve also read stories from other creators where they’ve grown a ton as well, after using an AI writer like Jasper, for example.

How I use AI tools to write blog content

First, why the heck did I turn to AI to create my blog posts in the first place?

I wanted to save time.

I write for my blog much differently than I write for other platforms, like Medium, for example.

It takes me a long time to create just one blog post and with me doing it on my own, I just can’t produce the number of posts each month that I want.

Going with AI is a fraction of the cost of hiring a freelance writer, it’s super easy to use and it’s helped me write dozens of posts each month.

How does it work?

I use Jasper and Copy AI differntly.

First, I was on Jasper only.

A few months later, I tried out Copy AI after seeing their Blog Post Wizard which can literally spit out a blog post in 2 minutes or less.

For Jasper, I like to use the Documents template.

It creates long, meaty articles.

It’s not perfect and I use it for my simple topics. When I go too niche with it, it just ends up spitting the same sentences over and over again.

I also like to use Jasper for H2 and H3 content blocks.

I have a lot of success writing the shorter content blocks with Jasper than long-form content, without a lot of editing.

Copy AI has a ton of tools available but to be honest, I’ve been totally locked into the Blog Post Wizard.

It’s the best AI writer tool I’ve found for writing a blog post from start to finish, pretty good.

I only have to do light editing with the Blog Post Wizard and it’s so fast!

When I have more time, I want to deep dive into all the features of both AI writers. It’s shame to use and pay for them every month without using them to their full potential.
