Ben hoists the oversized rucksack over his shoulders. Screeches goodbye.

That’s that then, he thinks. Where now? The wind howls, his tiny toes curl. Winter trees look down pityingly. Lisbon’s hot, he remembers.

Slowly, he places one baby foot in front of the other and begins his journey to Portugal.

I rolled a 6 and a 2. I had chosen the top two shelves of my favourite bookcase so ended up with Winter Trees by Sylvia Plath and Journey to Portugal by José Saramago.
