Abstract

the third year was focused on studying level three in <a href="https://www.open.ac.uk/courses/modules/a363">Advanced Creative Writing</a> — now in my fourth year, I am studying Philosophy as part of my degree. I love learning new things all the time. I have previously taken other creative writing courses over the years and had a great teacher who wrote TV shows for a living. She taught me everything about writing including writing for television which I did not take up at the time, although, I have studied a course in screenwriting in the past. I would love to one day write a TV script which I have now learned in <a href="https://www.open.ac.uk/courses/modules/a363">Advanced Creative Writing</a>. The year 2023 will be a big year for me as I will be graduating and getting my BA in Arts & Humanities (specialism in Creative Writing). <b>Update:</b> I have finally finished. I gained an Upper Second Class Honours (2.1) in the Arts & Humanities (specialism — Creative Writing). I am now studying for a Master of Arts (MA) with honors in Creative Writing.</p><h1 id="4108">Homelife</h1><p id="0bca">I am married and have two grown-up sons who have now given me two grandsons. My mother was Irish from Southern Ireland and my father was Greek Cypriot from Cyprus but I was born in England. I have traveled extensively over the years and have lived in Cyprus for over four years in the past.</p><p id="8590">So, that’s it for me. My life as a writer-editor and poet and traveller amongst other things

Me on holiday in Lanzarote

I am Denise and I am a writer living in London, United Kingdom. I write fiction and poetry and some non-creative fiction about my journey in life as a writer amongst other things. I have been known to write about things that I feel passionate about.

My novels

I have written two novels and one poetry book along with two short storybooks. One of my recent fiction novels is a series and book two has already been written and is due to be published. I have another series coming soon as I have written the first book. These books can be found on Amazon. I have also got a travel book and a diet book published under another pen name.

I have written for many years. I have written for magazines and various publications over the years.

Study

I have always wanted to study creative writing and get a degree in it, so, lately, all my time has been given to studying for a BA Honours degree in Arts & Humanities with the Open University. I started this late in my life and I am currently in my last year. I have studied for four years for this degree, so I will be graduating in 2023. In my first year, I studied Law and then changed to Arts and Humanities and went on to study a mixed course that included history, art, humanities, English Literature, philosophy, and Creative Writing. I studied Creative Writing and English Literature in my second year and the third year was focused on studying level three in Advanced Creative Writing — now in my fourth year, I am studying Philosophy as part of my degree.
