Welcome to my profile page! My Medium profile name is Belle du Journey. If you check out some of my articles, you’ll understand why I use a pen name or pseudonym.

I’m 50-years old. I’m Canadian although the majority of my extended family is American. I also hold an EU (Irish) passport and am an only child. I can speak French. Despite being Canadian, I don’t say “eh!” very often. I do enjoy the rough and tumble thrill of a fast-paced hockey game.

Educationally, I hold degrees in Political Science, Communications, and Writing. I spent a lot of time learning French although I rarely use it anymore. I also studied wine with Wine & Spirits Education Trust. This is knowledge I use daily.

I’m a West Coast girl, who enjoys living with my husband, son, and cat in one of the world’s most expensive cities — Vancouver.
