Be Open (More About Me) - Akhaine J.P.
Five Weird Facts I discovered About My Self. You May Be Surprised, If You Give It A thought...

The other day, I got chatting with a colleague of mine and she asked me, what are the weird things you’ve observed about yourself or personality that sometimes make you wonder - “Do I have a personality disorder? Are there two identities living in this body? Or Am I A Shape-shifter?” (Laughing).
This got me thinking because she took out time to identify some of hers. I did too and decided to share some of them especially the very funny ones.
Here are just 5 of them.
1. I Laugh Out Loud When Funny Memories From The Past Pop Up In My Head.
Some things have happened to me in the past right from when my brain became matured enough to receive the information of the environment, process it, protect it, and finally store it.
These memories come to life especially when triggered by incidents relating to them but sometimes, it comes on its own and I suddenly burst into laughter.
This may even happen in public and on such occasions, I just smile and try to curtail the laughter as much as possible. Then in my quiet time once a while, such memory comes and I burst out with laughter.
This could just be a compensating mechanism to cheer me up when facing life struggles. This helps me clear my mind of being sad, moody and depressed creating a new sense of hope.
2. I Cry For Movies That Are Deeply Romantic And Soul Touching - For A Guy That’s weird.
Since my childhood, I have always loved watching action movies and cartoons.
As time went on I gradually started opening up to romantic movies and drama.
I was amazed at the passion put into these movies by the actors, actresses, and the entire production crew. The overwhelming emotion triggered my lacrimal glands causing visible teardrops.
Honestly, for a guy like me, I think it’s weird but it seems I am gradually getting in touch with the emotional part of me.
3. I Sweat And Get Nervous When Talking With Females I Admire And Have A Crush On.
I am the shy type.
Yes, I say this a lot when I speak in public. Letting it out helps me gain control and I easily flow.
However, when it comes to ladies I admire based on their level of influence and not just have a crush on, I tend to sweat! And I am like Oops!
This is obvious and can easily be seen on my forehead (laughing).
Not that I feel intimidated or I got low self esteem-don’t get me wrong. It’s mainly because for a lady to deserve many accolades especially in Africa, it’s a wow and indeed seeing them as an authority in their fields is a deep sense of respect. - I'll expand on this subsequently.
The earlier we start to recognise women rights the better.
4. I Play Music And Combine Sounds In My Head And Try To Voice It Out (Beat Boxing)
I feel this should be common to many persons especially music lovers and sound producers but believe me it’s weird — I mean how can you convert your mouth to a recording sound studio at the same time.
This skill has given birth to "beat-boxers" in the world today especially Kelvin Olusola of the famous Pentatonix band.
5. In My Head I Am Extremely Introverted.
To the public, I am extroverted and I was seen as a figure in my local community, due to the numerous engagement, how forward I am seen to be, down to my easy interaction with people.
Honestly, there are times a sincerely wish I am not known and want to mind myself, coupled with the fact I love staying indoors. I have come to appreciate my peace and space.
Therefore, there is this introverted part of me and the extroverted part of me. Depending on the situation, the best suited for it comes on display.
Final Thoughts

So here is a challenge, take out time to think, observe your mind and personality, you might be amazed at what you will discover.
