A Woman Is Born

It’s not your body or clothes that make you a woman.

Remember that you are strong, empathetic, kind, understanding, purposeful, powerful and beautiful woman — you are a magnificent person.

Life literally begins with women. Childbirth pain is one of the most brutal forms of pain a person can feel.

The pain a woman faces during pregnancy and childbirth both have different pain levels, but just as painful compared to what a man experiences during his wife’s pregnancy!

There is pain radiating from the cervix, through the abdomen, groin, and back. Which can only be described as a painful, aching sensation that makes you not even want to move.

But oh wait!

You have to move because you have to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes. I would love to see a man try to compare this pain to everything he has endured in his life!

Just remember that you will get through it and eventually get to see the miracle baby, the wonderful story of life is unfolding because of the pain you have been through. That’s when you know it was totally worth it.

We probably know each other more than anyone else, and with our strong sense of self-love, we can overcome anything, most things that men couldn’t even think of.

Women are strong for the shit we put up with, we have a right to do what we want with life and to know ourselves fully even if the system has not been on our side — through education or anything concerning the improvement of women as a whole.

To every sister, daughter, wife, and mother. To every aunt, every grandmother, every lady and woman, every wife and friend, I want you to know something: you can overcome any fear and rule out all doubt.

There is no obstacle too great to overcome, for you are more powerful than you might imagine.

Here’s the truth about being a woman — there are so many expectations. You are supposed to look a certain way, behave a certain way and be original in some way as you follow this defined pattern of what it means to be ‘feminine’.

But the truth is, what makes you a woman isn’t your body or the clothes you’re wearing. It’s not the bubble you fill in an app or the label on the bathroom door.

Your heart, mind and soul radiate with forgiveness, love, patience and vulnerability — and these qualities are the strongest of all.

Being a woman is determined by your brain, by your strength, by the way, you carry yourself. And let me tell you something, you are strong.

You are strong because you are independent. You are strong because you also know when to rely on others. You are strong because of what you went through as a child and what you still overcome as an adult.

You are strong because of your persistence, your faith, your positivity. You are strong because you smile even in the face of challenges; because you try so hard to never give up when it comes to standing up for the ones you love.

You are strong because you are a woman who does not allow herself to be defined by the world, but who follows her own path.

You are strong because you put others first, because you trust and because you give your heart to love.

Women are mentally strong. Really, we have to give ourselves credit. From childhood, we have been confronted with gender stereotypes, “catcalls” and body image issues.

We reached glass ceilings and fought for equality. Just think of the women throughout history who have shown great courage.

The world will tell you that it is weak to be an emotional woman, that it is weak to give you love, that letting others “in” is weak, that you are weak just because you are a woman. But the world is wrong.

Your heart, mind, and soul radiate with forgiveness, love, patience, and vulnerability — and these qualities are the strongest of all.

So don’t hang your head if you feel broken. Don’t let the world get cold. Don’t let the ways of this earth stop you from being the smiling, laughing, radiant woman that you are — because you are strong, so strong!

And the world would be boring without you.

Love yourself and the world around you. Recognize the goodness in yourself and in other souls.

Challenge yourself to get out of all your comfort zones, dare to take risks despite your fear, and set high goals for yourself.

Dream big! Follow your life purpose — your true calling.

Discover and invent yourself.

Take care of yourself, love yourself, and take the time to focus on your well-being. It’s your moment — embrace it, enjoy it and celebrate. You deserve it and you deserve all the magic in the world!
