A Wish of a Wanderer
In the quiet night.
Can the sun keeps on sleeping so the dark can stay and tomorrow won’t come, so that the shorthand won’t walk pass through 5 and the long hand won’t trudge through 12, so I can stay in this uncertainty and not deal with it, so the time will stop just for a moment
Can the sun keeps on sleeping so the silence can stay and everyone remains asleep, so that the blinds stay shut and the stars outshine the neon lights so I can savor my solitude and let it all out so that the quiet stay unharmed
Cos I need time to breathe
Cos the night is just, not enough.
