Finally, a Weekend Free From Haze

Following the hazy weekend we endured last week, we are finally experiencing a reprieve this week, with a noticeable improvement in air quality.

Favourable wind patterns and intermittent rainfall have contributed significantly to this positive change in our region.

However, we are not entirely in the clear yet, considering we are in the El Nino phase, characterized by heightened dryness and heat. It’s crucial to remain cautious and not let our guard down completely.

Despite the better air quality, local authorities have underscored the importance of maintaining vigilance. It’s advisable to take necessary precautions, such as limiting outdoor activities if the situation deteriorates once again.

Considering the ongoing wave of Covid, it’s imperative that we cooperate to avoid placing undue strain on our healthcare system.
