Summary

The website content is a poetic reflection on love, life, and the cosmos, personifying a woman whose emotional experiences are intertwined with celestial events.

Abstract

The poem "A Thousand Suns" draws a parallel between the emotional intensity of a woman's life and the grandeur of the universe. Her smiles brighten like a thousand suns, and her tears darken the universe, affecting even mythical creatures. She is depicted as the daughter of the Milky Way, captivating and intelligent, who engages in heartfelt exchanges but remains humble about her artistic talents. Despite her ability to envision and paint celestial wonders beyond the reach of telescopes like the James Webb, she keeps her work private. The narrative suggests that her journey, though fraught with heartbreak, leads to personal growth and the possibility of a future among the stars.

A Thousand Suns

A stellar poem

“She was ready to deny the existence of space and time rather than admit that love might not be eternal.” ― Simone de Beauvoir (The Mandarins)

She smiled, and a thousand Suns glowed brighter in response

Clouds departed, minds turned spotless bathing in an eternal sunshine

She was the daughter of the Milky Way Stole hearts eager to be stolen

Seduced even the most resistant minds She was attracted by wit more than beauty

Played with some, some played with hers And then they each moved on

She wept, and the Universe itself darkened pixies and fairies stopped their fun games

Unicorns and mermaids withdrew to their realms She was too eager to see her stellar siblings

So eager that despair got to her whenever she failed she wanted it, she desired it too much

She could visit the stars in her dreams — up close disregarding all assumed limitations of space and time

‘Nothing can travel faster than light’ say those with a lack of imagination

She painted globular clusters and black holes but she never shared her dazzling artwork

She thought she was not good enough or she did not want to draw attention

She drew vivid visuals and imagery even the James Webb cannot see

But in contrast to the beauty below her own story is not done yet

Every time she breaks her heart she returns stronger and wiser

Her future, this terra incognita, is yet to be written perhaps, who knows even among the stars
