A Taste for Life is launching its first monthly challenge. Life can be an invigorating or harrowing rollercoaster ride. The quote above reminds me to look for the diamonds that make life worthful when things do not go to plan.
What is the monthly challenge about?
“A Taste for Life” is a place for writers to share their stories about life. As part of the “Monthly Challenge,” the publication will publish your 1–3 minute stories based on “A Taste for Life” prompt.
To participate in the challenge use the two prompts posted below to inspire you to write a story on one of the prompts and submit it to “A Taste for Life.”
Let the “prompts’ be your creative muse. Your submission story can be in any form. Poems, paintings, photos, fiction stories, or non-fiction articles are welcome for submission.
Prompt 1: Visual prompt
When I saw this painting in a friend’s house it evoked vivid feelings and memories in me. The painting was painted by the artist as a surprise gift.
Prompt 2: Written prompt
“Some people come in our life as blessings. Some come in your life as lessons.” Mother Theresa
You can use the quote, or part of it, as inspiration for your story.
