In decades bygone
I was born on this very day
With dreams aplenty and fast
To be a blessing to the world;
Happy birthday to me
Reminding another year has passed.
Today, I want to share my blessings
With one and all,
The past years are not the end;
May the days beyond today
Bring further blessings to one and all
Bringing you joy, love, and happiness
Beyond all your best and happiest.
Blessed by boundless Grace
In fond memories of yesteryears
Over timeless yesterdays
Of joyous moments of yore;
Of my beautiful Pingping
Whom I love who loves me
Of people in need along my path
Of my joy in meeting their needs
Of works of compassion and passion
Of falls and rises, despair and pain
Of good fortune and fortitude;
I took them out and shake them up,
Separated the laughing from the crying,
Keep the best on top of the rest,
Truly grateful for life itself.
My wish and hope for everyone;
May you find the one you truly love
Who truly loves you as you are,
And the things that you wished for
In your dreams of joy and happiness;
May you live in every moment of time
To become whom you can be,
Basked in the abundance of sunny wishes
Like the twinkling stars in the starry heavens
Lighting shining paths to your sunny morn.
Today I hold fast memorable memories
Of many loving moments in lasting joy,
Filled with joyful delight and joyous laughter.
Today, I wish you the very best of everything
And more laughter, happiness, and joy.
Windy breeze chimes in the trees
Birds parade in pairs over the blue skies
Frogs croak in harmonious symphony
With crickets and other living things
In natural cacophony
To heralds a new life cycle from today
On this warm sunny Spring morn
Setting the mood for this day.
