Our minds are powerful tools, and by using our imagination, we can easily see the person we wish to become, and the way they would lead their lives.
This is actually really interesting because that person exists in our minds, and in full detail. Whether it is daily routines such as how they would spend their mornings or as random as the way they would act in a line at a coffee shop, we can observe this person clearly.
So we know exactly how to act and to be, in order to transform ourselves, but then our doubts get in the way, and we create limitations around our potential, and who we think we can become.
That’s why it is essential to save ourselves from this loop, and today I’d like to share with you a simple psychological trick to clean your subconscious mind and transform your life.
To apply it, there are 3 steps to follow:

2-Reverse these beliefs
3-Embody the person you wish to become

I was recently reading a book called “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” by Dr. Joseph Murphy, and in there, the author talks about how our repeated thoughts sink into our subconscious mind to the point where we no longer notice them as thoughts, but they become beliefs.
Dr. Joseph Murphy explains this further as:
“All of us have our own inner fears, beliefs, opinions. These inner assumptions rule and govern our lives. A suggestion has no power in and of itself. its power arises from the fact that you accept it mentally.”
So detecting these subconscious limitations is an important step to becoming the person we wish to become, and changing our lives.
To do that, it can be a great start to ask “why” to every sentence that starts with “I can’t”, and ask it as many times as needed to find the root cause.
2-Reverse these beliefs
In the book, the author continues to tell that to reverse a subconscious belief, it is a great method to change your thoughts of your conscious mind.
So whether these are daily affirmations that you find powerful and effective, or thinking of the opposite of these limiting beliefs whenever you find yourself being restricted by them, repetitive self-talk can help you to reverse these beliefs.
3-Embody the person you wish to become
After completing the first two steps, all that is left to do is to observe what we talked about in the intro, which is to imagine how the person we wish to become would live their life, and then to embody that person.
This is powerful because by changing these little things, we can let ourselves transform, and improve the quality of our lives.
