Dead Poets Live Prompt Response

A poet like me Casting nets to the windy Waterfalls wonder If there is a melody Playing for their rhythmic splash

Nature calls for me Letting them to other souls Telling their story Asking for breaths of honor And telling of their life songs

At last, they hear verbs Splashing falling waterfalls Waters to refresh Standing underneath the flow Feeling the wet, mossy stones

Taking leaps for love Hand in hand forever more And next, the lovers Dance upon the sandy shores Aromatic tides of salt

Shell crumbs under feet Tides rushing with salt and sand Like dermabrasion Scrubbing sludge and adding more Taking away worried songs

This is in response to the prompt: ______like me. Read more here: Dead Poets Live
