A Poem on the Gravitational Laws of Chaos and Light
by Gustave Deresse
I know nothing, don’t forget.
If truth shows itself to me, I hope someday to see.
The freeing momentum of light, propelling, risks taking us too far.
The grounding weight of darkness, suffocating, right in balanced amounts.
Chaos isn’t of mischief, but a simple pool of infinite possibilities through which consciousness travels as light.
Are there in existence countless virtual threads of perceivable reality?
What is it that governs our path from one form of experience to the next?
Until the image of infinity has finished forming in your mind, nothing can be certain.
Note From the Author —
The quantum laws, while all-encompassing, can be considered far detached from our familiar physical laws of perceived reality. If nothing matters in the grander scheme of existence, this doesn’t yet confirm that nothing matters on a seemingly practical level.
Maybe I just don’t want to live in a world where the full truth causes us to lose complete sense of love and goodness towards others and ourselves.
Occult teachings tend to run this risk.
Remember, until you can process the full image of infinity, you know nothing. Less than nothing. To a certain degree — if not fully — be safe in your actions and your beliefs.
I perceive, perhaps you do too.
Maybe this means my current sense of self will never reach the full height of its power. If that’s the case, then I accept.
Be good, and take care.
Sincerely
— G
