A Piece of Apple Pie

C’mon, it’s FICTION, folks. And it’s EXACTLY 100 words. Let’s have a little fun and start reading…Oh, you’re already reading…
Known for his delicious apple pie, he made it often. In fact, Susan joked the pie kept her around. But learning of her numerous affairs, he decided his pie would teach that cheating bitch a final deadly lesson.
Apples in the mixing bowl, he measured and added the remaining ingredients, like hundreds of times before.
Lastly, he added the secret ingredient, odorless, tasteless, and deadly. Just one bite would bring a quick, painful death.
Taking a spoon, as always, he mixed the ingredients.
Then, without thinking, reflexively, he popped the spoon in his mouth just like hundreds of times before.
