A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words
When you want to hold on to that moment in time

It’s hard for me to describe the nature of my relationship and bond with my mother.
Over time, it has come full circle. My role has morphed from that of a child being nurtured and guided, to a friend and confidant.
And now as more of an older sibling or even parent, always protective and trying to return the tender love and care I have been showered with.
But one thing has remained constant — she always was and continues to be my guardian angel.
I may be 7,000 miles away, yes that’s roughly the distance between Toronto and Lahore, but simply knowing that she’s there, praying for me, helps me face any and every curveball life throws my way.
The reunions grow more precious with each passing year and the farewells doubly hard…
This image captures the essence: Of wanting to hold on and not let go.
Time is precious.
Make each moment count.
