A New Year, A New Chance To Achieve Your Goals

Make time work for you this year, don’t be a slave to it

We’re three months into another year.

One minute it was early 2020 with a mysterious virus spreading from country to country, governments issuing lockdowns, and businesses closing down left and right, then we blinked and it’s 2022.

How has it been 2 whole years?!

Even in the periods where time seems to crawl, the minutes are ticking away, and day by day you’re getting a little older. Another year is gone. What have you got to show for it?

Have you spent your time wisely?

How many of the 365 days of last year did you use to work on your goals? Do they seem closer than they were before? Are you happy with your progress so far?

I personally would like to have seen more progress on my goals at this point, but I am farther along than where I was a year ago, and I’m still working on them, so I’m still on the right path.

Discipline yourself to use your time in a better way.

Whether you need to set a schedule or start with figuring out what time of day you work best in, find a way to get the things done that set you up for success.

Instead of repeating the commonly quoted phrase, “There are only 24 hours in a day,” turn it around and think, “Wow! I have a brand new 24 hours in front of me. What can I get done in all of that time?”

Make the time work for you.

Take time for yourself by all means. Self-care is essential to success, but don’t fritter the days away on social media or meaningless activities or you’ll wake up one morning and another year will have gone by, but you’re no closer to your dream than you are today.

Make the most of every day.

Remember,

Today is the most important day that you have.
