A Morning Stroll in Washington DC’s Suburban Oasis
A photo essay
“A morning walk gives the body a chance to forgive the trials and tribulations of yesterday, to shed its rubbish and mental clutter.” — Terri Guillemets
On a recent holiday in Washington DC, I joined my brother for a leisurely morning walk through a picturesque suburban neighborhood.
The sun bathed the streets in a gentle warmth, while the September air was refreshingly crisp, invigorating our senses.
As we meandered through the quiet streets, we had the pleasure of crossing paths with some of his friendly neighbors, out for their morning strolls, sharing smiles and friendly greetings.
I couldn’t resist capturing the serene beauty around us, from the charming houses to the mature trees.
It was a morning filled with the simple joys of life, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start to the day.
Come along with us, and let me share the warmth and charm of this idyllic morning.
What are your favorite neighborhoods for a morning stroll?
