A Magical Treasure Arrived in the Mail
Abundance shows up when you need it

“What makes a treasure a treasure.” Marine replied, “is how rare a find it is when you need it the most.” ― Jodi Picoult, Between the Lines
Today I am wearing a piece of magic. Yesterday I received a mysterious little package in the mail. I was mesmerized when I opened it up!
Inside was a little silver charm of a mermaid with a golden tail along with a beautiful glass bead. It came in a soft purple bag with a cleaning cloth. Instantly I knew it was a long-awaited gift from my dear friend.
My friend Lily and I have known each other since we went to high school in Mexico. I was there for my junior year in 1991. Ever since then, we have had a tradition of sharing charms.
These silver charms are symbols of our friendship as well as luck, prosperity, and joy.
Isn’t it wonderful when you receive something that turns your whole world around? I love when unexpected things happen because they open the doors to magic. On my 100-day journey exploring abundance, yesterday brought a spark of joy.
Today I want to share with you three ways to let more abundance flow into your life.
1. Keep track of evidence of abundance
I keep a little notebook where I write down everything that flows to me. It may be money I saved at a store or an unexpected gift or prize. It is mindblowing how quickly everything adds up.
The more you pay attention to the magic flowing into your life, the more it will show up for you.
When you notice and collect these experiences, they begin to appear more often.
The more you focus on what is flowing to you, the more overflow you will see in your life.
2. Celebrate when something flows to you
Another way to invite more to come to you is to celebrate whenever it does.
This celebration might be toasting with your family at dinner, enjoying a cup of tea in the afternoon, or playing your favorite music and dancing to it.
The important thing is to celebrate everything.
Get excited about the penny you found in the street or the coupon in the mail. It will all add up.
You may not think that counting the savings on a receipt is a celebration, but it is!
3. Keep the flow going by sharing
Share your wins and abundance with others. Putting good news out there helps it gain momentum.
When you share what is going right and give from your overflow, you receive more in return.
Instead of a deluge of bad news, we must sift through; what if we could add to a shower of joy cascading down on everyone?
Share your abundance by emailing your good news to friends, posting about it, writing about it, and singing about it.
Your joy adds to the positive energy all around us.
Getting that charm yesterday was a sign of hope and strength. I want to share that joy with everyone so that it keeps flowing.
My prayer and my intention for you is that you find a spark of abundance to write down, celebrate and share. When you do it will open doors for you. The universe is waiting to help you. Keep on celebrating the magic!
