A Little Longer

Let me write your dreams Ones you could not dare to speak Let them live on my diary pages And hold them down into the cages. I know you are scared they will break free, the little magical sparrow With giggles under its wings, is now afraid of its own shadow. But there lives my promise For as long as I have before perish All you fear, fears itself You’ll be fine with or without my help. Dearest little bird, fly a little higher, dream a little more Talk to the clouds, sit beneath the stars, you will again be whole.
