There has been a flurry of activity swirling around in my mind. It is the Christmas season, and our to-do list seems to grow by the minute. I have felt pressed for time, yet wanting to do so many things. On my 100-day journey, while studying abundance, the lesson I learned today is that there is always enough time.

It is why I am so thrilled that I felt called to go outside yesterday. Some time had passed since I took a long walk in my garden at a leisurely pace. Keeping up with routines and chores had kept me indoors. However, yesterday I heard the voice of the inner being loud and clear; it was time to go out into nature.

I spent some time walking along in our back garden, picking up random branches that had fallen on the ground. It is one of my favorite things to do because no matter what, I always find more. Even when I think I have seen all of the sticks, I walk some more, and another one appears. Nature is magical!

Then, in an instant, I was mesmerized. One of our squirrel friends was munching away on some seeds in our hanging bird feeder. I decided to come closer, to see if I could take a photo of him. I slowly stepped towards him, zooming in. I was lucky enough to capture a shot of him looking right at me!

At that instant, little finches began to gather. The fluttered effortlessly from tree to tree, branch to branch. Their joy was so evident in their movements. As I stood there watching, I felt as though I was in another dimension, that this ballet of birds was just for me.

Their message to me was crystal clear: We have taken care of everything; you need to enjoy the moment and be in peace. Their flights of fancy have stayed with me, and I can feel the joy bubbling up in my entire body. This morning while I was making breakfast, I felt as though tears of joy were welling up inside. I cannot contain the well-being that I feel right now.

It is the message of hope that the universe is delivering right now. We need to feel the joy. It is paramount to stop and take the time to be outside in nature, no matter the weather. Hidden messages are waiting for us in the wind, the sunshine, the rain and the birds.

My prayer and my intention for you today is that you get outside. Bundle up or put on your rain gear if it is cold, but go out there to explore. See what messages of abundance and joy are waiting for you out there.

Day #35: How can you get outdoors today and find some hidden messages of abundance?
