You swear the oath, vowing to keep the tower’s secrets. Brunt nods. “Follow me, but watch yer step. This tunnel’s treacherous.” He leads you through a hidden door into a dark, winding passage.

As you navigate the tunnel, something glints in your periphery. Distracted, your foot slips.

You tumble forward with a cry, plunging down into blackness.

“Daft bugger! I tellt ye tae watch yer step!” Brunt’s cursing echoes above.

Instead of slamming into solid ground, you crash into deep water. Gasping for air, you surface in an underground cavern. You survived the fall, but now you’re trapped.
