A Gift Of Understanding On Mothers Day
She looked up at me, her eyes far away, and said, “that was the happiest moment she has given me in my entire life.

Our world celebrates Mother’s Day today.
Many of us are unaware that motherhood is a difficult job.
“I didn’t ask her to bring me here,” Thirty-five years-old Marcia Sterling complains.
“Do you love your life?” I asked.
“Not all of the time.”
“Share a memory with me of your Mom that you still cherish,” I encourage.
Her eyes spin around for a while as she trods unwillingly back into her past.
“She was never around when I needed her. But it was sports day at my primary school. I was eight years old and was a part of the relay team. I didn’t bother to look around for her. I ran the race and lost. As I broke down in tears, someone hugged me.”
“She came through for you after all.”
She looked up at me, her eyes far away, and said, “that was the happiest moment she has given me in my entire life.”
“You held on to it for all those years.”
“Yes, that was the last time she did something for me,” she said sadly.
“Something made her that way. If you love the life, she gave you, find love in your heart for her. Life is a gift. You got to love the giver.
Give her the gift of UNDERSTANDING!”
Being a mother isn’t an easy job. Yes, you didn’t ask to be here.
But if you love life, show some gratitude.
Happy Mothers Day, Mothers.
