WRITING PROMPT | TWITTLE PARTY
A Fun Twittle
Micro poem with 100 letters
Have you heard of a twittle?
As explained by Carolyn Hastings in this article,
A twittle is a four-line micro poem consisting of exactly 100 alphabet letters and an element of rhyme.
A twittle is a nutty poem in the class of a quatrain exactly one hundred alphabet letters a perfect workout for your brain © Carolyn Hastings 2022
Inspired by Toni Greathouse’s tongue twister and Annie Trevaskis’s twittle, here are my attempts.
I am trying to write a twittle before the tea heats up in my kettle Oh my god, why is it so little? Oops I broke my brittle kettle.
Everyone, check out my twittle wonder why it is so little? I am a newbie, so let me settle later I promise, I will make you giggle.
The 100 letters part is challenging but do give it a try, it’s fun!
Thanks a lot, Toni Greathouse and Hollie Petit, Ph.D. for encouraging me to write this :)
