During my short time on Medium, I have run several competitions through my two publications, “New Writers Welcome” and “What is love to you.” It has been a way of rewarding some writers with monetary prizes.

Our latest competition, “I love my mother,” closed on the 30th of April and will be judged by editor Marilyn Glover, with the winners being announced on Friday the 6th of May.

Today I launched another competition due to its continued success; however, it has met some resistance; what do you think about Medium? Love it? Or loath it?

It is your chance to tell us what you really feel; we are a publication full of love. However, we also understand the opposition is loth (we don’t like the word hate).

Our competition is simple; you have a maximum of one thousand words to write about why you love the Medium platform or why you loth it; I am sure you have plenty to say. Will Medium listen? We will wait and see.
