Write about your personal experiences. This is a simple, yet effective way to monetize your offline activity. It takes a lot of time to do it and a lot less time to write about it.

If you search for the best robot vacuum cleaner, share your findings with your readers. Why did you choose that model? What were the features you needed the most?

Let’s say you are the type of person that loves going out to coffee places. Instead of visiting the same place over and over again, test new locations and write short reviews about them. This way you generate more content and may receive the opportunity to advertise businesses and coffee places.
Do the Things That Keep You Inspired
It’s difficult to write when you’re not in the mood, I know. I had discovered a few simple things that enable me to generate valuable content;
I keep my dose of inspiration flowing by doing the following:
- going out for short walks;
- doing sports indoors, when not in the mood for going out (I recommend you also do the exercises from the 8 min abs video);
- reading motivational and self-development books — a book that helped me is Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People. Did you read it? You should!
No matter what habits you have that keep you creative, don’t stop doing them.
Always Write With a Clear Purpose In Mind
Don’t just write random content. You may be an astonishing writer, but random content usually does not bring good results.
Before you start writing, clearly define your target. What is the purpose of the article? Who are you writing for? How will the piece of content help your readers? Why does the piece of content bring value to the persons reading it?
Remember, SEO Is Very Important
If you don’t want your content to get viral by accident, you should always write with SEO in mind. It’s not difficult at all to use a plugin such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math to optimize your content.
You desire to get your content read and distributed, right? Don’t rely only on Social Media or the publishing platforms, also give “Good Old Google” a hand to understand your article better.
SEO is the way Google’s bots understand and index your article.
Add More “You” and Less “I”
A lot of bloggers write as if they were already famous and everybody is curious about the things they do. The reality is the opposite.
People are more interested in what they have to gain from reading your content, and not about what you do. Does it help me to find out what you eat for breakfast? No! Why should I waste time reading such content?
Don’t get me wrong. Writing about what you eat for breakfast can be useful if, for example, you explain the benefits.
I eat cereals for breakfast. — I don’t care, it does not help me.
By eating cereals for breakfast, I discovered that I have more energy to do my daily tasks; after 7 days of eating cereals, I was able to perform better at work every morning. You should try it also, it’s easy and cheap — I care, I have just received actionable advice that may help me to perform better.
Use Excellent Grammar
Don’t do sloppy writing, grammar is very important. Well-documented articles that contain grammar mistakes don’t usually get appreciated and there are fewer chances that they get viral.
What I do:
- I use Grammarly to correct my grammar mistakes;
- I read the piece of content once out loud, to discover and modify the; phrases that are too complex or too long;
- I read the article once and focus on eliminating the repetitions so that the text isn’t annoying to follow;
- I read the text one more time, just in case I had missed something.
Write Scannable Content
Another important thing is to write scannable content. Use headings, bold and italics to highlight different ideas and include bullets to organize your lists.
Also, pay attention not to create too long paragraphs, because big chunks of text are difficult to read.
By optimizing your content to be read easily on small screens, you boost the changes it has to become viral.
Keep Working Hard Despite the Bad Results
A lot of people start with a big dose of enthusiasm but get easily discouraged if they don’t get the results they desire.
Don’t expect that all your content will get viral and don’t hope to get success overnight.
Don’t stop too soon. You may be very close to the treasure you desire, but you might quit digging just before you reach it. Make a plan instead and follow it.
A good plan sounds like this:
- write constantly, despite the results — before you can generate good content every day, you need to be able to generate content every day;
- after you got publishing regularly in your system, improve the quality — try to find out ways to optimize the content and to promote it better; this is a never-ending process;
- perform trial and error until you discover what works best and what doesn't — writing articles that do not attract your readers isn’t that harmful as you think.
Embrace Feedback and Don’t Get Tricked by Trolls And Haters
Feedback is very important because it’s the way our readers tell us what we should improve and what works best for them.
You should embrace honest feedback, even when it’s bad. Don’t take things personally and don’t be too stubborn to admit if you make a mistake.
Also, don’t let haters and internet trolls discourage you. Negative feedback mustn’t drive you crazy!!!!!!!!!
