80 Degrees

Photo by Siednji Leon on Unsplash

80 degrees water start to heat there’s no me converging on we dampened air draw some heat from me 80 degrees we’re not in a rush

just a hurricane

This was a quick sketch of a poem I jotted down a few years ago. It was inspired by the knowledge that the water temperature required for the formation of a hurricane is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. At the time, this was meant to be a companion piece to a larger article I was writing about hurricane formation but I scrapped it.
