8 Weird Crimes Committed For Crazy Reasons
From throwing alligator through the drive-thru to shaving cats.

There are four types of crimes in the world that we live in: felonies, inchoate offenses, misdemeanors, and strict liability offenses. Interestingly, in recent years we have been witnessing the fifth one — the crime committed for weird reasons and sometimes no reasons at all.
Murders take place because of revenge or some other deep issues. As for theft, this usually happens when someone needs money or maybe the criminal feels greedy. But what about the stupid crimes which take place for crazy reasons?
If you have clicked on this post for any thriller or action, you have just clicked the opposite, as the crimes listed below are simply bizarre.
1. Covering Car Of Cheating Boyfriend In Mayonnaise And Ketchup
On the 9th of March 2016, police received a call from a person who claimed that his cars were damaged and covered in the blend.
Upon investigating, police found out that Chantil S. Dawson, girlfriend of the victim, did it.
Chantil found out about her boyfriend cheating on her. So, while her boyfriend was with his other girl, she took the opportunity and covered the car of both individuals with mayonnaise and ketchup.
The 22-year-old Chantil was fined 10,000 US Dollars for damaging the property, and she was said to stay away from her former boyfriend and his other girlfriend.
2. Throwing Alligator Through The Drive-Thru Window
A man in Florida was arrested and charged with assault with a life-threatening weapon without the intention of killing. Joshua James, a 24-year-old man, allegedly threw a 3.5 feet alligator through the window of a fast-food joint, Wendy’s.
According to the police, James drove up to the drive-thru window, and as soon as Wendy’s employee handed over his drink, James threw the alligator from the same window and went off.
No injury incurred to anyone during the incident. The alligator was captured and released into the wild.
James was not punished for this crime, but he was told to stay away from Wendy’s and any animal besides his mother’s dog.
3. Held Prisoner In A Pigeon Coop By His Blood

Within Spain’s colorful culture and streets, a horrific plot was stirred up. For 20 years, a man was held prisoner by his brother and sister, within an open-air pigeon coop, with no bathroom facilities.
They claimed they kept him there for his own safety upon since suffered from mental illness. They also provided him with food, medicine and $1100 pension.
However, their statement seemed to contradict as the condition the 59-year-old man was found was nothing but horrible, where he only had a bucket to use as a toilet.
Also, hiding a person away against one’s will instead of taking to the doctor is not a healthy coping strategy for anyone with a mental illness.
4. Pet Owners Finding Their Cats Patchy, Shaved and Traumatized
In the streets of Michinghampton, several pet owners reported to the police and Stroud District Council about the missing fur they found on the cat’s coat.
Some reported about several missing patches of fur on their head, stomach, and feet, and some even found cuts and scratches on their pet’s body.
The pet owners claimed of hearing such incidents but never paid any heed. Who would get a kick out of removing cat’s hair?
They suspected it was some naughty child on the street — but whoever the culprit was, it’s still unknown.
5. Killing A Voodoo Priest When Threatened With Magic
Well, this one is the most serious on this list. The story goes like this: a man named Malherbe Francois shot a crossdressing voodoo priest, when the priest threatened him with magic.
Francois claimed that during their heated conflict, the priest threatened him with some magic powder. So before the priest could use enchantment over the Francois, the latter finished the other.
When tried, Francois didn’t go for a self-defense plea, admitting killing Beauglais Bazelais.
6. The Beginning of An Urban Legend?
Walking across the golden gate bridge, two pedestrians were shot down by darts issued from a blowgun. We all know how a blowgun was a weapon used in ancient times. An empty vessel and darts were blown from it at the target.
The darts were examined, footage of the scene sought, and inquiries made. However, the mystery is nowhere to be solved.
7. Please Don’t Mess With My Garlic Knots

Four friends broke out in a brawl when they discovered their garlic knots had been covered in cheese.
The trouble started when Jessica, one of the friends, demanded her money to be returned. She turned red when the clerk placed it on the counter in a “rude” manner.
Then, three dudes broke in, knocked down a fax machine and the cash register, wreaking more havoc around the pizzeria before leaving.
The police eventually caught them. Was the reaction understandable?
8. The Watchers House In New Jersey

In the summer of 2015, a family bought a house and shifted into it; only after a while did they start receiving letters from an unknown person, which the family described as something like a horror movie script.
One of the letters they received by The Watcher stated how the sender’s grandfather used to watch over this house in the 1920s, then it was his father, and followed by himself.
Upon reading all these letters, the family was horrified. They decided to report it to the police, but the mystery is still unsolved even after the involvement of the FBI.
