I love to see how one skill makes me money from multiple sources. If you are into blogging and writing, this article will help you a lot to earn money from different sources.

7 Ways to Monetize Your Medium Blog

  1. Book — There are two primary ways to monetize your blog with a book: 1) Publish on Amazon and send people to your book. 2) Sell it from your site and deliver it as a PDF. Simply use Gumroad for that.
  2. An email list — 1) Choose an email marketing provider like Mailerlite, Convertkit, or Flodesk. I use Gumroad. 2) create exclusive content to give in exchange for name and email 3) implement that content on your blog in appropriate places 4) deliver the content via email
  3. Sponsored emails — There are a couple types of sponsored emails you can use: * fully dedicated email * feature slot:
  4. Sponsored posts — make an income by having brands pay you a large lump sum to write blog posts about their products or services. I got this only once.
  5. Affiliate income — focus on blog post topics around how to use the products and their benefits. I do affiliate marketing very rarely. So far the results are okay.
  6. Exclusive content for a subscription — Here are some ways to create a subscription product for your blog: Patreon: videos, blog posts, polls, other content Facebook groups or other memberships that require payment An app that includes features your blog doesn’t have
  7. Consulting or courses — This is the easiest one out there. Almost every content creator has a course of their own or consultation services.

We cannot do all.

Even I have implemented a few of them and it’s working for me. So go for a few only and do it properly, consistently.
