One of my closest friends always has something to say about Cancers; even when listening to my podcast, he didn’t understand why I described them in such a positive way. Unfortunately, people give them a hard time for being emotional.

All Signs have a shadow expression, but that doesn’t mean one is more toxic than others. Our personal experiences due to family, friends, romantic relationships, and even co-workers shouldn’t rule our opinions on the Zodiac.

We must understand the characteristics of each sign based on their Archetypes, which gives us the ability to look at their traits in a more detached way.

In this series, I will go through all 12 Signs of the Zodiac, so we can look at some of their strengths and use them to our advantage. In other words, let’s look at the qualities that make these archetypes unique so we can incorporate them into our own lives.

Your Soul Family

One of the most draining feelings is being around people who aren’t on the same wavelength.

The reason for this is that you have to force yourself to be on to maintain a relationship that is not natural. Being in situations where we must be performative 24/7 isn’t healthy and something we should avoid if possible because I do recognize that not everyone has the luxury of getting out of every situation right away.

In Cancer energy, one of the best traits is connecting with the people you consider to be tribe.

We all need that in our lives; it doesn’t have to be blood relatives but people that emanate a familial connection. Your vibe attracts your tribe, as the saying goes, which is what Cancer brings. You want to be surrounded by people who vibrate a high frequency, who you are comfortable around, and bond with on a genuine level.

Doing Self-Care Like It’s Your Job

We forget to nurture ourselves, and with Cancers, it’s essential for them to do self-care.

Learning how to take care of your needs is a must. One of the core positive traits in Cancer is the ability to care for themselves in a way that creates balanced mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Self-help is something we need to stabilize ourselves when we are feeling out of sorts.

Taking the time out to ensure you’re getting good nutrition, a nice bath, listening to music, and doing something spiritual is one of the best ways to nurture yourself. How else can you go out there, face the world, and succeed if you aren’t harmonizing your mind, body, and spirit?!

So even doing the little things helps your well-being overall.

Getting In Touch With Your Emotions

We could benefit from understanding our emotional bodies.

Getting in touch with why we feel the way we do, understanding our emotional wants, needs, and security is vital to living a life of fulfillment.

Use this positive trait to feel your emotions, know what causes you to be triggered, and what makes you happy. Realizing those things allows you to understand your needs and helps you stay out of situations that deplete you.

Learning to show yourself some compassion is another vital trait to integrate into your life.

Internal security is essential; you want to ensure your emotions are steady and not all over the place. Prioritizing yourself with people who don’t cause your emotions to go into overdrive is crucial.

Empathetic

Showing compassion to yourself and others isn’t always easy.

One of the main traits of Cancer is learning how to be more empathetic; being considerate of others is something we all should adopt in our lives.

There can be situations where we walk into an environment and need to know how to read the room. When you know how to do that, you know when it’s an excellent time to be open or hang back. Being more receptive to what’s going on with others stops us from being selfish and making a fool out of ourselves.

Sometimes people might not be open to talking, so learning to understand those cues helps us avoid awkward situations.

The Art Of Concealment

Being protective of yourself and others isn’t a bad thing. Cancers need their privacy and will protect that at all costs.

Overexposure is something that happens too easily because we live our lives online. People feel the need to share more than they should on their social accounts, which unfortunately opens them up to others being in their business.

In Cancer, we protect the things that don’t need to be seen; not everyone needs to know what you have in your home. The sacred art of concealment is a habit we should implement in our lives.

Personal Life Goals

Cancers do best by going beyond the superficial and creating an emotionally fulfilling life.

The thing that gets glorified in this world is the hustle and bustle culture, which is fine, but have you ever seen anyone get a pat on the back for working hard for a stable home life?!

This Pandemic that we are still in at the time I am writing this proved that having a stable living situation was crucial.

Hence, this global crisis made it more apparent people had a toxic relationship with their home lives.

Because I am a coach/Astrologer, I’ve listened to some clients tell me they hate their living situation or just being home. If you live somewhere, you should be comfortable; it is where you sleep and eat!

Of course, some situations are extreme for people, so being home isn’t pleasant, and in those cases, it’s very different. But we could learn something from circumstances where people just don’t like their home life.

Making your personal life and living situation a priority is essential; if something needs to be changed, do what you can to improve those circumstances. After you’re done with the day, a home should be a place where you can take your shoes off and relax.

The importance of having a place you call home is key to your success.

Dedicated

Another unique trait with Cancers is they can be some of the most trustworthy people you can meet.

Be the kind of person who is healthily committed to your loved ones.

It’s essential to prioritize your wellbeing; use this guide to connect with the best parts of Cancer The Crab.
