Photo Challenge

Thank you to Dennett for this lovely idea!

I get out and walk or hike every day, but I’ve been neglecting my camera and taking photos.

I need to slow down.

So this challenge seemed perfect to stir up some creativity. And also some awareness as I get outside in nature.

The chamisa are in bloom here in New Mexico, a stunning river of yellow.

I must have walked by this tree hundreds of times, it’s right by my place. But walking slowly with my camera, I got to appreciate how symmetrical and inviting it looked. Almost like a throne!

I love cactus fruit! I used to eat them all the time in Peru… these ones are still small and need some more sun.
