It's The Time To Make Easy Money
Tons of opportunities to unravel in Web 2 + Web 3

Technology was invented to make human life easier.
Generators replaced thousands of workers.
Motors replaced horses.
Softwares replaced telecallers.
If somebody suggests that you have to work hard for money, listen to them graciously but do not live your life believing it. We've invented robots, AI, and giant machinery to do the hard work.
Technology allows us to go beyond physical labor and earn from what we enjoy. It has the potential to make us all millionaires.
It's the era of leverage — time to work smart and earn while learning.
That's only possible if we work and follow a strategic plan. Hard work will be required, but only after you've done the smart work.
Don't believe me? Let's get into it
What's Easy Money?
Easy money would mean different to different people.
It would mean finding smart entrepreneurs to do all the work and make 10X returns on their initial investment for an investor. For an artist, writer, or any creative person, it'd be to monetize their creativity.
When you find what you love to do, you enjoy every minute of it.
The whole notion of easy money stems from doing the work you love to do.
Elon Musk built SpaceX, Tesla, and other tech giants because he loves technology. He doesn't have to push himself to do it every day as someone who hates their job — he does it out of passion.
When you find something you genuinely enjoy doing and are passionate about, you work on it out of curiosity.
Naval Ravikant talks about doing work that is "Play to you and work for others."
It may look like a tough job to many, but only you know how much you enjoy doing it. Even selling a course and making millions in 40 minutes like Ashley Massengill, you'd need years of work in building an audience and credibility.
Finding what you truly enjoy doing would be the first step towards earning easy money.Web 3 is the Renaissance of the Passion Economy
I have been an advocate of Web 3 and NFTs for months. There are tons of opportunities coming out every day in this space.
You no longer have to work in your grey world of 9–5— you can make a living entering a world of the metaverse and blockchain gaming.
Playing Axie Infinity employed millions in the Philippines. There was a 300% increase in "play-to-earn crypto games" in July 2021.
Not just playing games, building game assets on various metaverses like Roblox or Decentraland also allows game enthusiasts to monetize their leisure activities.
Apart from games, NFTs are also a significant way people leverage their art skills. The renaissance of art that nonfungible tokens got into the world has allowed people to rekindle their love for their craft.
Beeple selling his collection at Christie's at $69 million gave people hope and showed what was possible. Small creators are also making the most of digital art.
Web 3 is giving you a chance to live your childhood dreams. There are more ways to make money while doing what you love.
Get Into The Proven Web 2 Methods
Not just Web 3, Web 2 has significant possibilities that are still bursting out for creators.
Cohort-based courses have made their way into the education system for years, but it is now that people have finally understood the importance of community-based learning.
Ship 30-for-30 brought a revolution where people jumped into creating content with other creators by paying money.
Creators are selling Notion templates. People pay $150 membership fees to update the market or be a part of a community.
Designers are selling all kinds of printables. Writers writing membership emails — it's all part of the big pie.
All the tech giants like Google, Facebook, Stripe, and Amazon are internet companies milking the lucrative market. However, they are testimony that the internet still has a lot of possibilities.
There are people selling rocks as pets, some making your kids sleep, and some record themselves to leverage it to make a quick buck.
They are all doing it because it's easier than a traditional job. Building a product can get you a paycheck every time someone buys your product, unlike a monthly wage from your 9–5. As Jack Butcher said
“Build once, sell twice.”
How Can You Make Easy Money?
I have worked 60–70 hours a week working for a freelance client after my 9–5 in the name of passive income.
Slogged my ass for months taught how it wasn't worth it. The idea of having an online income is to have a recurring and comfortable stream of revenue. If it's affecting your mental health and leaving you exhausted, it's not going to last long.
Easy money comes to you effortlessly and makes the process a joyful ride. It is to make money while sleeping and doing what you love.
I'll illustrate what happened when I answered these questions to make them clearer.
Here are a few prompts I used to get to my Easy Money Phase
- Prompt 1: What comes naturally to you?
- Prompt 2: What do people come to you for advice?
- Prompt 3: What do you find yourself doing in your free time?
- Prompt 4: What daily practice would you continue to do for free?
And that's when I started blogging — doing something I love while making easy money.
I learned that writing comes naturally to me (P1). And a lot of my friends come to me to help them with their college applications or other writing work (P2). I mostly read or scribble something in my notebook (P3) or various platforms in my free time. I had been writing on Quora for five years for absolutely zero dollars! (P4).
It made it clear that writing came easy to me. Writing is not easy, but for me, it was easier than working as a freelance designer or a social media marketer.
The best part is if you love playing games, then there's a way you can build a revenue stream from playing. You can either follow a traditional method by building a community and waiting for compounding results or join a P2E platform to get immediate results.
Don’t wait to find your expensive journal, pick up your phone and do this exercise right now to enter your Easy Money Phase.Parting Thoughts
As an experimentalist and thinker, I consider stupid ideas and live them for months. This gives me first-hand knowledge about what works and what doesn't.
I am a true believer that hard work and persistence is the building block of success, but I am also a believer in effortless actions — the actions that come to you and don't require hustle.
If you love what you do, you will like playing your favorite game and winning in life even when you're barely making any profit.
What feels like play to you?
