$500/week writing about writing?
Recently, I started reflecting back on my early writing days. It was exciting but, daunting finding new client gigs.
As a result, I worked a slew of low-paying content jobs that barely earned me a part-time income.
One of my top asked questions today continues to be, “Where do you find your writing jobs?”
There are a ton of writing resources online and many places to find well-paying, plentiful writing jobs but, lots of writers don’t know they exist.
I stumbled upon a writing gig I thought I’d share, that pays up to $500/week for you to write about writing.
This is a topic I cover in my Medium stories, sharing my tips for getting viral articles on Newsbreak, providing a behind-the-scenes look at my writing schedule, tools I use, etc.
I’m going to start sharing writing opportunities I find online.
And, this is the first one.
Here’s where I found it and how you can get in on it…

I found this on one of my favorite places to find writing jobs.
These job postings are from publishers that pay to post their writing gig in hopes of hiring a writer or team of writers.
I have gotten so many jobs on this job board!
The job hiring for this gig pays $0.05/word for 1,000 to 2,000-word pieces and up to 1 to 5 articles per week.
$0.05/word for 2,000 words X 5 articles/week = $500/week
And, you’ll be writing about writing.
The example they give is the difference between bare with me and bear with me. It’s for English writers that know about “difficult words and phrases,” according to the job posting.
