By Ian Stauffer on unsplash

I love Medium.

Medium is an amazing platform not only for bloggers but for writers as well. I am an author and a blogger too. Here, you can read how Medium Helps me in publishing my first ever book.

Things I have learned on Medium:-

(1) Medium will make you more money than cents:-

Before I started Medium, I came to know that many people told that you can only make some cents on Medium. However, this is not true. You can make a good amount of money if you have dedication and purpose.

(2) Medium is not a short-term game:-

If you think you can make a good amount of money just from the day when you sign up and start writing. Believe me! Medium is not like that. You can’t make money from the very first month. It will take plenty of time to build an audience and make a good amount of money.

(3) Choose Medium, if you can be able to be consistent:-

Attention here, choose Medium if you are consistent with your writing.

Consistency is the key to be successful on Medium.

You can only survive on Medium if you are consistent with your writing. Write every day, to be successful on Medium.

(4) If You are not getting Curated, don’t worry:-

I was first curated when I celebrated my first year anniversary on Medium. I was in Curation Jail for 11 months. I know how it feels when you’re none of the articles got curated. However, don’t write for curation write for yourself and your readers.

There are so many lessons I have learned on Medium through Curation.

You can be successful on Medium, without getting Curated.

(5) Medium is a great platform to build an audience:-

Nothing matters more than readers for a writer.

Readers make writers. Without readers, writers have no value. As a writer and blogger, we have to make an audience. Medium has some great readers who are eagerly waiting to read some amazing content.

I know I have made so many writer friends on this platform. I love to connect and get feedback from them.

However, you can make an audience on any platform then why I tell you to make an audience on medium because you will get some genuine readers and audience on Medium.
