If You Spot It, You Got It.

There are times when you’re sick of feeling everyday struggle, hardships and constantly thinking that what are the things you can do differently and is there a way out? You can’t fake positivity or happiness, but then how can you be in a better state physically and emotionally?
Let me take you through 5 subconscious behaviors that we do everyday and unconsciously attracting negativity into your life.
1. Living in the past or future
How do you cope with the uncertainty and upheaval in your own life and in the world?
If, we are so caught up in worrying about yesterday, or dreaming about tomorrow, what do we lose? We lose today!! We are no longer present in the moment, and we lose those moments forever.
Be Mindful!
According to Wikipedia: Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one’s attention to the internal and external experiences happening in the present. It is the very essence of being in the Here and Now.
2. Using negative words
- I hate this job.
- I never want to come here.
- She’s a terrible friend.
- My life sucks.
You get it what I mean. Sometimes we show hate emotions to strongly and it becomes our primary nature without realizing it. Similarly, the words you use have the energy you give to yourself and those around you.
Instead replace them with positive self-affirmations.
- I am doing my best
- I will achieve my goals
3. Spending time critizinging other people and situation
Why not try to free yourself to soar by adopting the wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi: ‘Hate the sin, love the sinner.’
If you do, you’ll be amazed at how rarely your direct reports interfere with your flight plans.
You might be unknowingly making harsh judgement, passing critical comments on the person you dislike or bitching about your friends behavior.
But what good is this doing to you? Speaking about negative things will only attract more negativity.
You can eliminating people who brings toxicity in your life.
4. Feeling jealous or hate unknowingly
“Nothing so needs reforming as other people’s habits.” — Mark Twain
Do you ever catch yourself scrolling on Instagram, tiktok and thinking I wish I had this too? It could be anything- exotic beach vacation, bigger house, branded clothes and what not.
In today’s time, nobody is happy enough, content enough.
You will never be beautiful or rich enough because there is always somebody better. But is that really a reason to be unhappy? How far will you go to search for people you’re better than?
This is no competition. We live in a world together.
I promise you that when you look at it that way, your behavior and habits will change.
5. Being angry in a spur of the moment
Do you find yourself wondering, “Why am I so angry?” It might be a sign that you need to find some healthy ways to manage this difficult emotion.
Anger is a normal emotion that everyone experiences from time to time. it is important to understand what you can do when you are feeling angry to get your feelings under control.
When you direct your anger inward, you might do things to punish or isolate yourself. You might berate yourself with negative self-talk or even engage in actions that result in self-harm.
In addition to deep breathing, learning relaxation strategies such as mindfulness, meditation, visualization, and progressive muscle relaxation can help you keep your cool when you find yourself getting angry.
If you don’t know how to express yourself verbally or find yourself less expressive in words, why not start writing your thoughts on a paper.
Maybe start with a gratitude journal, and how you feel at that moment. Be honest and not shy away from your thoughts and emotions at that time.
Get closer to self-awareness; identify envy, visualize letting it go as you breathe out.
All the best!
