5 Reasons Why You Never Finish Anything And Keep Starting Other Stuff Instead
And You Ain't Lazy — Trust Me

We've all been there.
You have a great idea, and you're super excited to start it, but then something happens — you get distracted by another project, or maybe life gets in the way.
Before you know it, your original project has been shelved for months, and now you're starting over with a new idea.
And then you realize that this one isn’t working either because of another thing.
Eventually, your house will resemble an abandoned construction site due to many half-finished projects.
But why do we do this? Why can't we just finish what we start?
And how can we ensure that we don't find ourselves stuck in this endless cycle of starting over next time?
1. You're not a perfectionist.
You don't need to be perfect. You need to get it done.
And if you're not happy with something, you can always go back later and improve it.
But perfectionism is a good excuse, whichever way we look at it.

2. You're afraid of success.
The truth is that if something's important to you, it will become essential to other people too — and that's a good thing!
It means other people want to see what you've made and want to connect with it because they love it too.
And that scares the pants off you. You would rather fail.
3. You're afraid of failure.
But the truth is that sometimes things don't work out exactly how we want them to — and that's OK!
Failure isn't bad; it's only bad when we refuse to learn from our mistakes and try again until we succeed… which brings us back to this.
Sometimes failing is a part of growing!

4. You don't have enough time in your day.
And that's no surprise, right?
It's because of all the projects you've started but never finished due to lack of time or poor planning.
This also leads back to: "You aren't prioritizing!". But then maybe you are not sure what is important to you.
5. You haven't thought about what you want in life.
And not just that; it's about what you're trying to accomplish with everything you do.
And if you have, it's probably because someone else told you what they think those things are.
Of course, you could just be lazy.
But, I doubt it, as starting something and never finishing it is hard work.
