Forbidden desire makes for some of the hottest erotic stories, and what can be more forbidden than having sex with a ghost? Or a demon? Or Bigfoot? You can have the best sex of your life every single night, but you can’t very well say to your best friend, “Hey, I got fucked by an incubus last night and he made me come so hard!”

Unless your best friend is a ghost hunter, of course.

Otherwise, you and your entity share a delicious sexual secret that you know no one will ever understand. In erotic stories, this kind of forbidden relationship not only fuels the sex, it also fuels the internal and external drama that pushes the story forward.

Entities Are Solely Focused on Your Pleasure

If you’re messing around with a disembodied entity, the whole encounter is about you. You don’t have to worry about what this new partner wants and likes, or how they’ll evaluate your sexual performance. The entity is there for you and only for you. Giving you pleasure is the main attraction and all you have to do is receive it. And the characters experiencing erotic paranormal activity love being the recipient of this focused passion.

But what about a paranormal partner you can actually see and feel?

Usually, these entities are still entirely focused on the object of their desire in erotic stories, often because they become so infatuated with their human partner that they want nothing more than to please them. After all, if you’re a succubus that’s been wandering around looking for partners for the last ten thousand years, or a shapeshifter that only gets to present in human form every so often, you really don’t have a lot of time to dillydally.

There’s a price that comes with all this paranormal pleasure: It’s highly addictive. Once the characters in some paranormal erotica have gotten over the reluctance of spirit sex, they not only enjoy it, they crave it. A lot. The entities are equally insatiable and once they attach to their human partner, they never want to leave them alone — possibly to the point where they suck the life force out of them.
