5 Life Hacks You Can Use to Achieve Success Without Working Hard
They’re tested and work effectively
The road to success is a process. It’s a journey that takes time, effort, and persistence. There’re no shortcuts to it, and those who want to get to it have to carry themselves through the process without shortcuts.
For no one cheats, and they make it. Those who have made it will tell you if you ask them, “you can’t cheat your way to success.”
But as much as you can’t cheat your way to it, certain practices make it easier and faster when you activate them.
They’re as follows;
Your talent and gift
Although there’s no shortcut to success, your talent and gift could shorten the process and make it easy for you when you use them.
The reason? When it comes to success and achievement in life, two things guarantee it — an idea about something that isn’t already in existence, and you create it, or your talent to solve people’s problems.
With these things, people achieve success, with the most notable being talent because even an idea appears to you based on your interest which emanates from your gift.
“Genius is the gold in the mine, talent is the miner who works and brings it out.” — Marguerite Gardiner
Novelty
Novelty is simply information you acquire to drive your way to something you want to get to. It’s one of the tools people have used to achieve massive success in life. People have read, studied, and educated their ways to success.
And although talents and gifts are the ultimate tools, you can’t achieve success without educating yourself on how things work.
Warren Buffet spends as much as 80 percent of his day reading. Bill Gates is a book nerd. And it’s one of the avenues to use to achieve success. Read, study, and educate yourself on how things are done, how to make money, and how to do anything that you’ll feel successful when you achieve. Learn and educate yourself in those things.
Copying successful people and reverse engineering their ways
Recently I wrote an article on how to speed up progress in life. And this is one of the topics that appeared in it.
The reason is that sometimes trying to figure things out your way isn’t worth it when there’re people out there who have achieved what you are trying to achieve. So instead, look at how those people got to the destination and copy and manipulate it to your advantage.
That’s what most people do, and it works. I do that every time I have to work on something, especially in writing. I know I’m not a good writer. I don’t have a writing background. I only have the gift and passion.
So, in this instance, what do I do? Go to the university and go through a rigorous process before I write? Hell no, when there’s a simple and easy way to hone my skill. No. I don’t have to do that. A lot of writers have achieved what I want that I can learn. And that’s what I’ve been doing, and I’m becoming better every day.
A typical example is what I do when reading Ayodeji Awosika’s works. This writer has everything I want to embody in writing. The best way is to study him and change the style to my advantage. So, why should I border learning it somewhere and pay on top of it? It doesn’t make sense.
“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light, and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent.” — Jim Jarmusch
Persuasion
This one tool should be the most that you must do everything in your power to master. Forget about talents and gifts. You’ll be successful irrespective of anything if you know how to persuade people to look your way and follow.
Persuasion is marketing. Marketing is persuasion. Those who can convince people to their way of thinking will win in every situation.
Ask any person achieving success in their field of endeavor about the secret that’s making it possible. They’ll tell it’s the ability to sell to people. Selling in this context isn’t necessarily selling products, although it relates. Instead, it’s the ability to convince people to accept what you’re saying or offering.
Even think of it? You’re selling your ways every day without the knowledge of it. Wanting something from somewhere. You have to convince them. Trying to find your way around something. You have to persuade the people involved to accept what you tell them. Etc. All these things are marketing.
Problem-solving
“Yet it is in this whole process of meeting and solving problems that life has its meaning. Problems are the cutting edge that distinguishes between success and failure. Problems call forth our courage and our wisdom; indeed, they create our courage and our wisdom.” — M. Scott Peck
Every company, individual who’s successful is in the business of problem-solving.
Someone will give you their hard-earned money because of a problem you’re solving for them, which in business terms, we call value.
This is the most remarkable trait the successful embodies. What they’re doing every day is creating value for people. They know that’s what you have to do to achieve success. Find people with problems and solve them. They’ll pay you. That’s how you become successful.
It will serve you as well if you practice these things
The above-discussed things make it easy and quick for you to achieve success. But aside from it, there are other things you need to keep in mind and practice.
- Integrity — This straightforward factor has contributed to companies’ and individuals’ success in every field. Unfortunately, the lack of it has made the failures as well. What’s integrity? I define it as character — the ability to stick to what you say to people and do it without compromising. It’s essential for success is because there are trust issues everywhere you turn. People wear multiple masks, not revealing their true identity, and it hurts people when they discover it. So, if you cultivate this quality, people will come to you all the time to do business with you.
- Self-discipline — The ability to do what you said you’d do creates feedback. The feedback creates an identity. The identity makes you feel confident about yourself, knowing that you’re a person of your words. This, like integrity, makes people want to do business with you because they know when you say something, you do it.
- Excellent fashion sense — We don’t judge a book by its cover. But, how you appear is how we gather our first impression about you. To overcome this hurdle that could impede your success, learn how to dress and appear sharp. People love it when they see you appearing in style. There are numerous resources online on how to dress. I use real men, real style, for all my fashion needs. You have to find one to help you.
- Empathy and kindness — Simon Sinek, the author of start with why and other new york times bestselling books, has been emphatic on this in recent times. It’s because of the belief that success in business and personal life comes from being kind to people. As a result, we can all testify how you stay kind to people. They want to be with you.
- Good health practices — People know it’s the better functioning of the mind that makes things possible. In going about your duty to achieve, things will be difficult if you don’t take care of your health and, most importantly, your mind. Because in the strength of your mind, in a healthy body, you can have the vitality to hustle on. So, why not? You need to eat good food, drink a lot of water, and exercise to keep you active.
You can’t cheat your way to success. But, you can achieve it quickly using these tools, and it isn’t cheating.
It’s simply you being smart and using ways that fasten the process.
Therefore, there’s no need to go through any dicey process to get what you want when people have done and achieved it. The best way is to learn from their ways and apply them.
That’s it.
