5 Facts to Motivate You to Write.
Today’s reinforcement for more positive attitudes.

We can be so consumed by our daily routines. Watching TV, preparing meals, house chores, reading news, reading emails, and more reading on the Internet. In addition to all of that, we can be so busy preparing for social meetings, attending, and checking those events. The use of social media isn’t an exception.
Having a part-/full-time work, a family member you need to take care of… the list can go on and on. These paid and unpaid work can take up our time to think and write.
Yes, that’s why we need to make time to face ourselves, try, think, and dictate our thoughts.
#1 Reduce negative influences and be positive
Try to reduce the number of negative influences you can cranch. Don’t be overwhelmed by those. Change the situation if you realize that you feel depressed or frustrated by negative information. There are so many negative facts these days. It’s not to say that we have to ignore them. We just need to adjust ourselves to expose to the kinds of information. We don’t have to be exhausted by negative information. For example, there is a TV controller so we can use it to change channels or turn it off after we understand what’s going on in our local area, and in the world.
If you are sunk in social media so deep that you feel so down, or so intimidated by what you just read, stop there. Find something else to read! If you are searching for a topic, then what you need to do is the following.
What do I like about who I am? What positive characteristics do I have? What are some of my achievements? What are some challenges I have overcome? What are some skills or talents that I have? What do others say they like about me? What are some attributes I like in others that I also have in common with? If someone shared my identical characteristics, what would I admire in them? How might someone who cared about me describe me? What do I think are bad qualities? What bad qualities do I not have?
#2 Don’t try to be a perfect writer
After knowing that there are Grammarly, Hemmingway Editor, and other options, I started using them recently. We just need to find what’s best for us. We don’t have to use images in our writing, but we know there are options out there such as Unsplash, Canva. Or create one by yourself!
Just having a piece of writing without any errors doesn’t mean anything literary. This article I just read before writing this gives a great example. He says that it doesn’t mean anything if you randomly pick error-free 10+ paragraphs from published work and put them together. It is so much important to notice that writers control the contents and the whole idea of the writing. Don’t keep a blank page blank!
This way of thinking is soo useful for someone like me who needs to rely on those applications to finish my writing. Let me say this:
Forget whoever told you that you can’t write! Or you feel you are a bad writer, don’t worry! You are writing now!
#3 You are working toward your future product
Your final product can be a big book once you develop a habit of writing.
I write a few hours or more a day. But I take a day off too during the week. The writing, the piece, doesn’t have to be finished all at once. That can be something starting from scratch. Or that can be a piece which you just got back from a publication editor with a nice comment like “Thank you for your submission. But it doesn’t fit our publication.” or no response at all.
Take a break after a couple of hours of writing. A piece of writing doesn’t have to be finished in an hour or two. You can first try to do 500-word writing in one morning. If you have time, do editing. If you don’t, leave it for later. If you go 500+ words, you are already halfway there to submit it!! Even if you are trying to write up a 1000-word article, it’s already such an achievement.
If a 200-word writing a day is more achievable, of course, Go Ahead and write them down!

#4 Write about kinds of reading you like
Read what you like will make you a fast reader. Write about what you read then will make you a fast writer.
The more intimate and positive feelings you have the better influence you have on your writing and on your readers.
The published work I Feel Good When I Choose To Do These for example, from reading articles, writing, editing, including picking nice pictures, getting accepted and published through a publication were all happened within one day. I felt good when I was reading something I like. The writing was smooth so was the editing. And I felt great when it was accepted and published right away! Receiving positive responses was another affirmation of my successful method used in writing.
#5 Describe your peculiar or beautiful encounter
From a beautiful flower to a super adorable doggie, and a daily conversation you’ve overheard at a shopping center or cafe. Those can be a great source in writing. Why you think it was so beautiful, so cute, or so funny and so strange.

Then, you’ll submit it. Even if you’ll have to do a little more revision, it’ll be fun.
Summing Up
