I Feel Good When I Choose To Do These

Feeling energetic, refreshed, happier, and having creative thoughts.

I don’t call myself a morning person, but I do enjoy my early mornings. Singing birds outside or sunlight sometimes happen to wake me up early. Thanks to them I don’t need an alarm clock sometimes.

Starting my morning routine earlier.

Breakfast.

Coffee usually. I don’t usually skip my important breakfast. Either I need to get going somewhere or need to stare at my computer screen, my breakfast gives me the energy to do so.

Do my work.

Watching videos to learn something. I use webinars, YouTube, and online course materials to learn something new. Sometimes it reflects on what I’ve already known, but there is almost always something interesting to discover.

Reading that I do is usually I read online or can be downloaded such as medium articles, and any archived materials. Today I first read two articles related to dogs: one was about her dog in a serious health condition after she came back from a trip, and the other one was about a doggie lover who enjoys meeting dogs at public places and uses them as his well-being detectors. Then, I read two humorous articles: one was a comic, an easy reading, just several images with very short dialogue, and the other one was about an author himself who is going to write a book.

Two different genres gave ideas of what I can write about here.

  • Reading a different genre from what I was reading the day can let me write something different from what I wrote before.
  • Reading a topic about an animal I like makes my reading more engaging.
  • Images can be very powerful: they strike my old memories and hits the sweet spot of my laughter, and important issues surrounding overwork.
  • Writing styles. Although the topic is about a plan, which hasn’t occurred yet, the writer writes events as if it happened to assert what will be included. I enjoyed the beauty of the structure of the second humorous article; how paragraphs, sentences, and words were used in addition to the timeline.

Writing.

From the readings, I did this morning. They reassured me to write concisely. I guess whatever I write, I can pack my words and sentences in small packages, and readers can unpack them and get my points easily.

I will then choose a nice image for this piece.

Walking exercise.

Whenever I feel like to do, in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Even just a 10-minute walk can help our health after a big meal in the evening

After the major surgery, I try to do my walking exercise as often as I can, but not as a strenuous exercise. I do walking exercises to relax physically and psychologically, but at the same time, to give myself just a little intensity here and there so I can feel I have my exercise done.

While walking, I can sometimes feel my stresses are gone and have some great ideas (at least for me at that time). A report from Stanford University actually suggests the benefit of walking exercise.

So, I’ll do it regularly for my health, and my writing.

Final Thoughts
