5 Easy Ways to Strengthen Your Intuition
It will show you the path whenever you feel lost.

We all possess a superpower — our intuition.
It is your personal guidance system that helps you discern between right and wrong. You don’t need to google every dilemma. To download the solution to the problem, you have to tune within.
Connecting to your inner wisdom instead of relying on technology is a powerful asset.
We live in a society that suffers from binge eating, panic attacks, anxiety and chronic stress. We became disconnected from our true selves. As a response, our bodies no longer feel safe as we follow the trend of hyper-productivity.
Your Powerful Self yearns to connect with your intuition. It is not your natural state to live in fear but in peace and harmony with your body, thoughts, and environment.
Intuition is that inner, unquestionable, but very subtle knowing of what to do in a given situation.
Intuition is not a loud sign from heaven. It is a gentle whisper.
Many people cannot hear their inner guidance. In the bustle of everyday life, we chase after the next high and try to control the course of life while neglecting the wisdom within.
To connect with your intuition, slowing down is essential.
Connecting with your intuition will:
- open up marvelous opportunities,
- help you find your purpose in life
- help you feel what is right,
- connect with people on deeper levels,
- reduce stress,
- boost your confidence.
If you want to develop and strengthen your intuition, here are some best techniques:
Quiet the mind.
As messages from your intuition are usually quiet, silencing the monkey mind is crucial to connect with your inner wisdom.
Your subconscious mind is your hidden genius.
Regular meditation detoxifies the mind from distractions and soothes anxiety. Even 10 minutes a day will yield powerful results.
Meditating alters your brain, and with it, the way your body responds to stress. When you quiet your fears, you give your intuition a front seat where you can receive messages, visual images or hunches.
In a meditative state, you can ask specific questions and receive answers. If the solution doesn’t come immediately, do not fret. Your intuition will eventually break through barriers and communicate with you when you least expect it, while in the shower, painting or during a walk.
Try this: Whenever I am in two minds about something, before going to sleep, I quiet my mind and concentrate on the question.
Next, I conjure a feeling of already receiving the solution. I go to sleep feeling relaxed, confident and pleased with the outcome. The following morning, I wake up with a hunch — I know the direction I need to take.
Start meditating by asking: What do I need to know today?
Meditation is about creating space for your intuitive voice to come through.
Spend time in nature.
When was the last time you walked barefoot on the grass? Did you get your hands dirty in the soil recently?
Nature is the best tool to reconnect with yourself.
Embrace solitude and step out into nature. Pay close attention to everything you see.
Sit down and observe your surroundings, the birds playing in the trees, the grass swaying in the wind. Imagine roots spreading down from your body and going deeper into the ground.
Nature helps us balance the onslaught of technology in our lives. In today’s fast-paced world, it is more important than ever to connect with the tranquility of nature. It reminds us what life is all about.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
— Lao Tzu,
Nature represents acceptance and surrender. Observing the wilderness simmer down your racing thoughts. A messy environment, rush, and stress wreak havoc on our intuition.
When you cannot shake off the uncertainty, step out into nature, and go for a long walk. While in the wilderness, concentrate your mind on the present moment.
Nature is our friend in dialing down on overthinking, worrying and planning. It reminds you of the power of the present moment. And intuition resides right here, in the present.
What is more, nature raises your vibrations and stimulates the third eye chakra. This chakra establishes a connection with the external world through inner vision. It is your ability to see beyond time and space.
Take a walk in silence instead of listening to a podcast.
Sit under the tree and observe the harmony of the wilderness.
Focus on micro-movements instead of big leaps.
Step away from the technology.
When was the last time you set clear boundaries with your phone?
We live in a world of constant input. News and notifications bombard us every second.
We mistook technology as a tool to keep ourselves busy or avoid boredom. Technology gives us marvellous opportunities, but using it to fill in the blanks in our days is destructive to our inner guidance.
Lessen the input from the external world, and capitalize on signals coming through your body.
Do the essentials and step away from your computer or mobile device. The fewer distractions you have, the more sharpened your senses become.
Society glamorizes productivity, and slowing down can feel out of reach. But taking the road less travelled means tuning into your intuition while so many people fail to listen to it.
We became more connected to our phones than our inner guidance. So to live differently, you have to make unprecedented choices.
While everyone spends their evenings glued to the TV, take a walk in nature or meditate.
Set boundaries with your phone. You have an impressive Do not Disturb feature. Use it. Not everyone deserves immediate access to your attention span.
Everyone else is chasing. Dare to be different.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.
We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

Creative movement.
Movement connects you with your deep emotions and desires you had no idea existed within you.
It puts you in a state of flow. As you get lost in the activity, your mind is on break from overthinking and worrying. It is the time when your mind is receptive to ideas.
Dancing works best for me. If you are not a fan, engage in jogging, walking, mindful yoga, and photography. The purpose is to step away from your body life and immerse yourself in fun.
Add mindfulness to your activity. Observe your thoughts while you exercise:
- How do you feel emotionally?
- What is the purpose of your movement?
- What do you crave today? A slow movement or an energizing session?
- Do you need to change the present moment? Would you like to be somewhere else? Are you rushing through the activity?
Intentional movement strengthens your inner compass. You don’t have to rush through your life. You get to enjoy everything you do.
Breathwork.
For centuries, breath has been the best-kept secret for accessing psychic power. Breath is your bridge toward intuition.
Fearful thoughts and anxiety get in the way of tapping into your intuition. Breath is your ally. It can shift you from anxiety toward calmness and receptivity.
Intentional, deep breathing is the most powerful tool to silence the mind and tune into your body.
Deep breathing sends a message to your brain that you are safe. These signals activate the part of your nervous system associated with relaxation, rest, and regeneration.
Deep breathing sends a message to your brain that you are safe.
Regular conscious breathing can increase your well-being, self-awareness, inner peace, and mental health.
Breathwork is not a modern trend. Since ancient times, it has been considered the portal through which the mind can achieve self-mastery and access higher states of consciousness.
Many Eastern practices like yoga and tai chi use breathwork to tune into our bodies, develop self-awareness, and feel deeper emotions.
Breathing practices clear your energy channels which facilitates the release of past traumas and strengthens the mind-body connection.
Try it right now. Pause. Take a few deep breaths.
Count on inhale:

3.
4.
Hold … 1… 2… 3… 4…
Count on exhale:

Don’t you feel lighter? Doesn’t your mind feel clearer?
One more thing before you go…
We make bad decisions because we don’t trust ourselves.
Intuition is not some external guidance, a foreign power. It is your ability to steer your life in the right direction.
The most important thing to understand is that to connect with your intuition, you have to trust yourself.
The more belief you have in the outcome of your inner guidance, the better results you will get.
Don’t allow the opinions of others to mess with your inner knowing. Have the courage to follow your heart (and your guts).
Your intuition is your sacred weapon. When you tap into it, you will receive knowledge available only to you.
Have a beautiful and guided day!
Thank you for being here, — Kate
