You see, I always had a burning desire to create something my own, whatever that meant.

But for a long time, I never did anything about it.

I talked a lot about it, I had ideas but as you well know, ideas are cheap, execution is the money.

And that’s when, I started writing online in 2021 as a fun hobby.

You don’t need to be an expert to start creating, but to make money out of it, you need to learn the ways a business could work.

Below are the 4 tiny mindset shifts I learned after reading various books on how to build a new business:

1/ From consumer to creator:

Shift your mindset from being a passive consumer of content to an active creator of content.

Start thinking about what you can offer to the online community instead of what you can get from it.

2/ From perfection to progress:

Don’t let the pursuit of perfection hold you back from creating.

Instead, focus on making progress and improving your skills over time. Remember, every great creator started somewhere.

3/ From fear to curiosity:

Don’t let fear of failure or criticism stop you from creating.

Instead, approach your work with curiosity and a willingness to learn. Use every experience as an opportunity to grow and improve.

Just because something feels scary doesn’t mean it actually is dangerous.

4/ From competition to collaboration:

Instead of viewing other creators as competition, see them as potential collaborators.

There is strength in numbers, and working together can lead to greater success for all involved.
