4 Lessons Writing Taught Me About Life and Myself
Thinking through with fingers

Below are some insights on what people generally learn from their experiences with writing.
Here are five lessons that writing can teach:
1/ Writing makes things simpler:
When you start doing something, everything seems difficult, scary, and you end up with set backs, and what not.
But as soon as you start writing, things becomes clearer and better.
2/ Practice makes you perfect:
Writing is a skill that takes practice to master.
The more you write, the better you will become.
It’s essential to write regularly to develop your writing skills and improve your ability to communicate effectively through written language.
3/ Clarity becomes essential:
Writing can help you learn how to express your ideas and thoughts clearly and concisely.
It’s helps you to understand your audience and most importantly about yourself, and tailor your writing style to their needs.
A clear and straightforward writing style will ensure that your message is understood and well-received.
4/ Makes you a better eliminator:
When you write, the first thing you learn is to edit for clarity.
Good writing requires careful editing and revision
It’s essential to review your work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, as well as clarity and coherence.
Taking the time to edit and revise your work will ensure that it is polished and effective.
You cut out every word that doesn’t contribute to the overall message you’re sharing.
In short, writing can make life simpler by helping you clarify your thoughts, communicate effectively, plan and organize, and solve problems.
If you do the same thing in life, you remove everything that doesn’t contribute to your goals.
Keep everything you do in life simple and you’ll enjoy it much more.
“All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.”
Lastly,
Try not to stop writing when life gets in the way.
In last two years of my writing journey, there were time when I wanted to give up, quit. It was because I was putting a lot of pressure on myself.
But if you want to continue writing, you’ll need to keep going even when you’re stuck.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I just read a good book, or go for a long walk.
Always remember that writing is a habit.
Sticking to something small to make sure you are continue with whatever your have started and enjoy the process.
