How to Earn Money from Old Medium Articles

Hello All,

If you want to earn money from writing on Medium you will need to do three things before you can. Have a Medium Membership, sign up for Medium’s Partner Program, and publish a Member only story. Medium already has some great resources to cover that process. I’ve linked them in this paragraph.

Today I want to talk about what to do if you have already been writing on Medium and want to earn money from your old stories.

Here is a simple guide with screenshots to walk you through the process of turning your old stories into Member only stories.

First, go to your account and select stories.

Second, click on your published stories.

Third, scroll through your already published stories and pick one you want to turn into a Members Only piece.

Fourth, select a story you want to paywall, press the three dots, and select “Edit Story.”

Fifth, in your top right corner of your story press the three dots again and select “Manage paywall settings”.

Sixth, click the checkbox for “Paywall your story” and save.

Click “Save and publish” and you now have a Member’s only story that you can earn from.
