We all did things we hated for a few days, weeks, months, or years. And it’s okay because sometimes, we learn from our experiences.
Once I did a job that lasted for four months, and I learned an important life lesson — when we do something that doesn’t align with our core values, too often, “Things Fall Apart.”
New Year Resolutions
Research shows about nine percent of adults stick to their new year goals, and about 91% fall out before they finish making new year resolutions.
I think 91% of people are not all lazy, but many pursue other people’s plans or join the stress of talking about new year resolutions. Be a learner, not a follower.
Here we go into the second week of 2022.
3 Things to help us stick to our new year goals:
I. Decrease stress
Less stress. Choose not to waste your time, energy, or money on things you hate or cannot do, improve, or change. Is your dream of making a million-dollar by March ’22 your personal goal?

II. Be wise with your goals
Select your goals carefully and be responsible for each one of them. Create your plans with what works for you, your family, and your community. You are the director of your goals.
Our goals are ours. We have the power to do them the way we want. Focus on your own goals, keep working on them, and discard excuses, comparisons, or blaming others.

III. Make your goals yours — choose yourself. You are unique
Make your goals yours. Don’t negatively doubt yourself, but pay close attention to your strengths and things that give you joy. Set your 2022 goals for your needs, family, or community needs.
We can stay away from our friends’ goals and choose not to do other peoples’ goals. Don’t copy others’ goals or compare your plans with others. Don’t give up on your true dream.
Your goals= you.
Choose yourself. You’re unique and you have one thing others don’t have. Our goals must be ours.
