3 Subtle Behaviours of Emotionally Attractive Men

We need more attractive men.

It’s always the simple things that make you stand out.

Two of my best friends started dating a few months ago.

The guy, A, treated her extremely well. From love-bombing her with texts to sending chocolates when she’s on her periods to not leaving a chance where he could make her feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

He was everything one would desire in their partner. I asked him how he did this, and he said,

Isn’t this how everybody should be treated? You’re making the regular things sound extraordinary. Every partner deserves to be treated like the luckiest human in the world.

According to science, it’s not the physical traits that make you highly attractive to the opposite sex.

Let’s go a step deeper and see what are three subtle things that can make a man emotionally attractive.

1. “How can I help you succeed?”

I think that sexuality is only attractive when it’s natural and spontaneous. — Marilyn Monroe

The first time somebody asked me this, it swept me off my feet, to say the least. I’ve seen men speak about their careers and sometimes ask about mine, but it’s rare for somebody to offer help because they want to see you do better.

Think about your closest friends. Aren’t they the ones who want to see you succeed? On the other hand, have you ever met somebody who gives an envious vibe when you talk to them about your successes?

We may or may not need your help, but we’d love for you to offer. It shows that you’re as committed to our success as much as yours!

2. Dressing to an occasion

Raise your hand if you’ve been on a date where your man was dressed in casuals for a formal date night!

I know somebody whose date turned up in shorts and sneakers at an expensive restaurant. Luckily, the place didn’t have a strict dress code and let him in.

Your attire speaks about you before you have a conversation. Grooming is highly attractive. So, depending on where you plan to meet, dress up accordingly.

3. Making your partner feel like they’re the only one

Trying to make your partner feel jealous to get attention is a toxic technique to get affection.

Love comes naturally to us. The feeling of being close to your family, eating your favourite food, holding hands with somebody who makes you feel like fireworks. Why complicate such a pure feeling with games?

Try making your partner feel secure and loved and see what happens.

Research shows that most women have an anxious attachment style. According to Healthline, this leads to certain behaviours like:

  • difficulty trusting others
  • low self-worth
  • worries that your partners will abandon you
  • craving closeness and intimacy
  • being overly dependent in relationships
  • requiring frequent reassurance that people care about you
  • being highly emotional, impulsive, unpredictable, and moody

If your partner resonates with this attachment style, playing games of jealousy will only make them feel worse.

Consider un-complicating your life with games and experience pure love instead. It’s loving that brings you love, inflicting negativity won’t take you too far.

Conclusion

You don’t have to be born beautiful to be wildly attractive. — Diana Vreeland

It’s the simple things that stand out in a person. Respect and ethics weigh more than giving somebody an expensive gift.

To be emotionally attractive is to just be you without trying too hard and being groomed. It’s the mild behaviours like being a listener, giving a platform for somebody, being honest, being kind, and being supportive that are valued in a relationship.

While the modern-day dating scene has become rather nasty with options available to us at our fingertips, let's not forget that attraction and love are feelings.

Attraction is more than how somebody looks, it’s about their demeanour and charisma. It’s about how you hold yourself and make the other person feel.

It’s something you can actually learn, and being emotionally attractive is one step closer to stand out and make an impression.

So will you do these basics to stand out in a world where people are trying too hard and wasting their time playing games?
