3 Signs You're More Healed Than You Think

Even if it doesn't feel like it

1. You No longer React to Triggers

You're making progress on your healing journey when you're able to take a step back when triggered before responding. Where you would yell and fight, you remain quiet. Where you would break down and cry, you stand tall and observe.

You take a step back and pause before taking action. You allow yourself to breathe and centre before responding consciously with awareness.

You understand triggers better now.

You understand that people are messengers and triggers point you to the things you need to heal.

When you’re triggered, you use your triggers to see what needs to be healed and released and you do the work instead of shooting the messenger. When you're triggered, you see that it's about you and not them.

Also, you're able to show up more consistently.

This means your mood and your behaviour become aligned and more consistent.

Before we heal, we have a lot of emotional wounds and so when we go out into the world, anything can trigger and set us off. But as you heal your wounds, you're less emotionally reactive to triggers.

When you’re triggered, you use your triggers to see what needs to be healed and released and you do the healing work instead of shooting the messenger.

2. You Tell Your Story Without Crying

We store so many painful emotions in our bodies. We release them when we cry. But when you tell your story and it no longer hurts, you’ve purged those emotions.

You’ve accepted the painful experiences and you’ve mastered the art of dealing with the triggers. The pain no longer holds you back, the wounds are closed and nothing hurts anymore.

You’ve released them all and that’s why you no longer have an emotional reaction. When you can use your experiences to help others overcome their own experience, that's a sign that your pain has been turned into purpose.

You've made peace with your past and you've grown stronger from within.

The pain no longer holds you back, the wounds are closed and nothing hurts anymore.

3. You Have Compassion For Others

If you've been through a difficult period in your life and have been able to pull yourself out of it, you naturally start to have compassion for those who are going through similar things.

You know what it’s like to walk in the dark and so you have compassion for those walking in the dark.

You know what pain and suffering look like. You know what depression and anxiety feel like and so you're able to have compassion for those going through the same things.

When you see another person suffering, you can't help but have compassion because you've been through it. You try to become a light to guide others to the end of the tunnel.

And at this point, you have all the power in the world to manifest your wildest dreams because you've healed your past and have nothing holding you down.
