Summary

The article discusses three signs that indicate life is not falling apart, but rather falling into place.

Abstract

The article explains that questioning one's values, being aware of things that no longer work, and accepting the necessity of change are signs that life is falling into place, not falling apart. It emphasizes that change is a natural part of life and can lead to a more authentic and fulfilling existence.

Opinions

  • Questioning one's values is a necessary part of keeping them aligned with who we are.
  • Being aware of things that no longer work for us is the first step to living a more authentic life.
  • Change can be uncomfortable, but it is necessary and can lead to a rewarding transformation.
  • Although change is difficult, being aware of its necessity makes it more tolerable.
  • The end of a transformation can be rewarding if we adjust changes in the direction of our goals.

3 Signs That Your Life Isn’t Falling Apart, and Instead, It Is Falling Into Place

We, humans, are creatures of habits, and we get attached to the state of our life, as it is.

This is why, whether it is through the external changes, such as starting a new job, or the internal changes such as feeling like you are not the same person as you were a year ago, unfamiliarity can feel overwhelming.

A series of changes like this can lead to us feeling like our whole world is falling apart, and so today I’d like to share with you 3 signs that your life is not falling apart, and instead, it is falling into place.

These are:

1-You question your values

2-You are aware of the things that no longer work for you

3-Although change is not comfortable, you know it is necessary

1-You question your values

Our values are our inner compasses.

But this doesn’t mean our “north” will always stay the same.

We are constantly changing and evolving, and thus with time, our values, and perspectives change as well. That’s why to question our values from time to time is necessary to keep them aligned with who we are in the moment.

So this is not a sign that your life is falling apart, and it shows that it actually is falling into place.

2-You are aware of the things that no longer work for you

It can be hard to see the things that once worked perfectly well for you to stop being that way. But it is also a blessing in disguise because only through awareness, we can adjust our life according to our current needs.

Whether it is as little as wanting to change our daily habits, or as great as dissatisfaction with our whole lifestyle, being aware of the things that no longer work for us is the first step to living a life that is more authentic to who we are.

That’s why being aware of our dissatisfaction with the current state of our life can lead to it falling into its place.

3-Although change is not comfortable, you know it is necessary

Change is difficult, but as Heraclitus said, it really is the only constant.

So although it definitely is not comfortable, being aware of its necessity makes it more tolerable.

It is often the times in our lives where we experience the most change, we get the sense of feeling that our life is falling apart, but in actuality, it only is a transformation.

We may be at the beginning of it, or the middle and our life may be unpleasant as it is, but by adjusting these little changes in the direction of our goals, the end of this whole transformation can really be rewarding.
