3 Signs of a Truly Spiritual Person
They want to become nobody so badly
1. They Don’t Discuss People
It is through language that men show their spirit. They prove their power through their many words. The man with a limited mind discusses others.
Truly spiritual people, on the other hand, show their spirit through their good deeds and their power through silence. They do not enjoy discussing people.
They are more interested in discussing ideas, strategies, and doctrines. They want to talk about philosophy, spirituality, and foreign ideologies. They talk about matters concerning the heavens and the earth.
They don’t have time or interest in talking about others. They have so much they must do it is a waste of their time and energy to discuss people, judge them, compare and compete with them, or care about their opinions.
A truly spiritual person does not find comfort in slandering, gossiping, or speaking ill of others. They are not concerned about how others live their lives or what they do. They focus on themselves, and they understand that everybody’s journey is unique and must be respected.
They are not interested in giving an explanation about what they are doing with their lives, nor do they expect others to do so.
When a truly spiritual person does not have anything positive to say about others, they say nothing at all. They stop negative conversations in their tracks by refusing to engage. Their respect for other people’s lives is shown by not gossiping about them behind their backs, passing judgment on them, or criticizing their behavior.
They understand that their words are spells that can build up or tear down and so they choose their words wisely and weigh them before uttering them. A spoken word can’t be gotten back.
They are less concerned with how others live their lives because it becomes clear that everyone is doing the best they can. They do not focus on who is awakened and who is still stuck in the matrix.
Truly spiritual people accept the fact that every individual is on a unique path according to their own understanding. They understand that not everyone wakes up and that waking people up is not their job, but that of the universe. They do not try to force anyone to wake up before their time.
They don’t judge others and how they live their lives and they don’t judge themselves. They accept themselves just the way they are and they also learn to accept others just the way they are.
2. They’ve Ditched Their Pride
The world is full of arrogant folks who boast on the internet about their gifts, accomplishments, and how much they make. There are those who do good just to talk about it later and those who help the poor just to let the world know what they’ve done. A truly spiritual person will not be caught doing any of these things.
They won’t be seen telling the world how much they make. They won’t be seen touting their accomplishments or telling everyone about their spiritual gifts. They won’t be singing their own praises because they know how silly that is. Their hearts aren’t filled with pride, so they don’t sing their own praises.
The ego of the truly spiritual person has dissolved and their humbleness encourages others to ditch their pride, too. They know with pride comes humiliation, but with humility comes wisdom.
Deep down, they want to become nobody so badly and often take the lowly position of servant. But this does not mean they lack confidence. They are very confident in themselves, which is why they don’t need to boast for approval.
A truly spiritual person looks within and discovers he is nothing at all. At the same time, he takes a look outside and realizes that he is one with everything.
Truly spiritual people know so much, but the more they learn, the more they realize how much they don’t know. The more they know, the more they realize they know nothing at all.
Their entrance into any space is an act of humility. They never have to flaunt who they are, but the life they live speaks for them. And because of this, they’re loved by everybody and even animals can sense their gentle spirit. They humble themselves under God’s authority and, at the appointed time; they are exalted.
3. They Know Love is The Greatest
A truly spiritual person has learned that love is the most important of them all. It’s the first fruit of the fruits and the best fruit to taste.
They love God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and they are unapologetic about it. Because of their love for God, they can’t help but love themselves and because they can love themselves, it is so much easier for them to genuinely love others.
When the heart is full, it runs over.
Because they love so much, the abundant love in their heart spills and overflows to everyone and everything around them.
A truly spiritual person loves to give. They’re very cheerful givers. They give because they’ve been given in abundance.
They give when they have very little. They give when they have plenty. They give because the need flows out of them, and when they do, they expect nothing in return. The smile they are able to put on a person’s face is their greatest reward.
This is why a truly spiritual person is loved by everyone. They get back what they give. They get back every love they put out in the universe. They reap all the love they sow and they reap in an abundance.
They have the biggest heart beating in their chest filled with kindness and compassion. Although they may encounter mean-spirited people who hurt, disappoint, or betray them, truly spiritual people are quick to forgive and let it go.
They don’t allow themselves to be overcome by hatred. They can let things go because they are attached to nothing. They understand that people only express what they are. They feel what they feel and are quick to let it go once they’re done processing it.
Truly spiritual people not only have big hearts, but they also have great souls and it can be seen in their desire to help all people and even animals.
Their level of empathy is just admirable. They can put themselves in the shoes of others and can even feel what people are feeling. They try to understand what others are going through and do what they can to help.
Also — They Fear Nothing
The heart of a truly spiritual person overflows with love, and perfect love casts out fear. One who fears has not been perfected in love.
Love within the truly spiritual person does not allow them to be fearful, but it gives them power, more love, and a clear mind.
They fear nothing no matter the darkness they walk through. They know that fear is a spirit that is not from God so they fear nothing but fear itself.
They are strong and courageous, not afraid or terrified because of man. They do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. They fear the One who can destroy both soul and body and that’s the beginning of their wisdom. This fear is a fountain of their life that turns them away from the snares of death.
Yeah, though they may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they fear nothing. When they feel fear, they put their trust in God.
